Extinction Rebellion Norge (XR Norge) offers a 6-hour course in civil disobedience (nonviolent direct action). Before participating in action with XR Norway, you should have attended this course.

The course consists of presentations, discussions, and physical exercises and is taught by two experienced instructors.

You will learn about:

• the history and philosophy behind nonviolence
• nonviolent action and tactics in practice
• de-escalation in conflict and how we should relate to the police
• legal consequences

The course is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of XR Norway.
