How can the broader movement for human rights, justice and nature together build the power needed to change the destructive systems we stand up against?

This question was raised when XR Norway organized a people’s assembly on August 21st in Karl Johans gate in Oslo. People from many different organizations and movements participated.

The public meeting started with a panel discussion where Niillas Beaska, Michelle A. Tisdel and Line Katheeb had a conversation based on the Sami struggle, the Palestine struggle and anti-racist struggle.

The participants discussed the topic in groups for an hour and gave their answers through an app. The Nordic Climate Justice Coalition and XR Norway will take these answers further. Updates on the results and the way forward can be read here soon.
